David Moorcroft appointed to SAPCA board

The Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) has announced that former 5000m world record holder David Moorcroft has joined its board as an independent director.
Moorcroft will take up the post immediately and has previously led UK Athletics as its chief executive. He is also chair of the West Midlands Leadership Group for the 2012 Games.
"My role will be to ensure that the profile of the organisation and its relationships with external bodies is good and that there is open dialogue," said Moorcroft.
"I want to ensure that the sporting world always refers to SAPCA when developing its facilities."
