Greenlight: British Museum tops online searches
BY Pete Hayman

London's British Museum has attracted the most queries out of the 1.5 million "going out-related" online search terms in January, according to a new report from marketing agency Greenlight.

Entertainment Retail - Issue 8 profiled online search behaviour during January and uncovers some of the most visible brands, as well as those brands interacting through social media.

The British Museum received 135,000 searches in the "going out" sub-sector. The Natural History Museum, Tate Modern and Science Museum attracted 110,000 searches each.

Meanwhile, attractions including Buckingham Palace and Madame Tussauds also featured among the most popular searches, in addition to "London Shows".
