![]() Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust has opened a full-service day spa at the GL1 leisure centre in Gloucester, which it operates on the behalf of the local council. The £125,000 investment includes treatment rooms, a spa pool and steamroom, monsoon showers and heated loungers, with the wellness thermal spa suite delivered by NOLA 7. Richard Bishop, managing director of NOLA 7 said: "The new thermal suite will include a salt inhalation marine steamroom in real stone mosaics, natural salt chlorinated hydrospa with granite surround, aroma rock sauna, adventure shower and contrast showers, hot stone loungers and a relaxation zone all in bespoke glass mosaic blends to provide an added touch of luxury." The entire 300sq m (3,300sq ft) spa area will also be illuminated with energy saving LED mood enhancing lighting. Sally Barnes, GL1 operations manager said: "Our £125,000 investment in the new thermal suite displays our commitment in delivering premium Wellbeing access to our members and the local community".
