The Steiner Leisure-owned brand announced last June that it had signed a 10-year contract to operate the spa, which combines traditional Asian treatments with "sophisticated" beauty therapies. Facilities at the Mandara Spa include four single treatment rooms with rain showers; a double spa suite with whirlpool and steam shower; and two outdoor massage pavilions. The menu includes a range of signature treatments combining massages, scrubs and facials using fresh ingredients and offered by a team of professionals from India and Bali, Indonesia. Meanwhile, the spa – open to hotel residents and non-residents – has joined forces with UK-based skincare brand Elemis to offer products and services such as the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial. Mandara Spa Asia president and COO Jeff Matthews said: "We look forward to providing our customers with a unique ambiance enhanced by the distinctive Mandara Spa experience." The hotel itself was unveiled by Pullman's parent company, Accor, last month (May) and is the France-based hospitality group's 500th property in the Asia Pacific region.
