![]() Image: The resort houses a 900sq m wellness area Rezidor has announced the launch of its first property on the French-administered island of Corsica with the new 170-bedroom Radisson Blu Resort and Spa, Ajaccio Bay. The new resort - near Porticcio - is owned by travel and events firm Groupe Ollandini and is one of the largest hotel investments on the island for around 30 years. Facilities include a 900sq m (9,688sq ft) wellness area with a spa that contains five treatment cabins, as well as a sauna, a hammam, a relaxation area, a hot tub and an indoor pool. Treatments on offer within the spa area use products based on local island plants and which have been supplied by Sothys and Crena Care. A gym is also among the facilities.
