Aberdeenshire swimming pool to reopen after £400,000 refurbishment

Aberdeenshire Council has revealed that final preparations are being made to reopen Banff Swimming Pool on 9 July, following the completion of a £400,000 refurbishment.
Work at the venue has included improvements to the pool tank, a revamp of the centre's changing areas and preparatory work for the upgrade of an air-handling unit.
Isobel Davidson, chair of the council's education, leisure and learning committee, said: "The newly-refurbished facility has been greatly improved for local swimmers."
