First meeting for Southwark's Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board

Southwark's Shadow Health and Wellbeing Board has met for the first time in London in a bid to tackle local issues such as obesity, alcohol misuse and health inequalities.
The forum comprises Southwark Council, local health providers such as GPs, the police and public health organisations and will address priorities such as healthy weight and exercise.
Southwark Council leader and board chair Peter John said: "I'm confident that by working with our partners we can reduce health inequalities for all our residents."
