The Flower Garden, the Ranger's Field and the Rose Garden were reopened to the public on 4 August, with Olympic organisers currently de-rigging the Cross Country course. A phased relaunch will see the rest of the west side brought back into use, although the main arena is staging Show Jumping, Dressage and Modern Pentathlon events until 12 August. Royal Borough of Greenwich leader Chris Roberts said: "We are in constant discussions with LOCOG to make sure the schedule to re-open Greenwich Park is followed."
