First match played at Rotherham United's £20m New York Stadium

Rotherham United Football Club (RUFC) has returned to its home town in South Yorkshire after a four year absence, with the new £20m New York Stadium hosting its first match.
Although the 12,000-seat venue was not at full capacity for a friendly against Barnsley on 21 July, the club confirmed it will be fully complete in time for the start of the 2012-13 season.
S&P Architects are behind the design of the stadium, which has been built by Gleeds along with GMI Construction. 3E Consulting Engineers have also worked on the scheme.
The north and south stands boast a polycarbonate edge to the roof to enable light to reach the pitch, while the east stand will also incorporate a polycarbonate roof system.
Built on the former Guest and Chrimes Foundry site, the New York Stadium is so named due to its historical links to the foundry, which made the US city's distinctive fire hydrants.
