17 Aug 2012 UK Sport: Paralympians 'to go one better' than Olympic colleagues BY Pete Hayman |
Team GB Paralympians are looking "to go one better" than their Olympic colleagues after UK Sport confirmed a target of at least 103 medals from the forthcoming London Games. According to data from all 18 Paralympic sports funded by the high performance agency, a collective performance range of between 95 and 145 medals has been set. UK Sport has also set a target of second place in the medal table - one higher than that was achieved by Team GB in the recent Olympic Games.
