21 Aug 2012 Olympic legacy channel to launch on Sky platform BY Tom Walker |
A new TV channel designed to tap into the increased interest in Olympic sports is to be made available later this year to BSkyB subscribers. Produced by independent TV company Highflyer Group, it will be launched as a 24-hour-a-day channel in November and will show sports such as athletics, cycling and wrestling. Highflyer lost the Channel 4 Racing production contract after Channel 4 signed a four-year deal with IMG earlier this month. Close Window |
