17 Oct 2012 Consultation begins on five-year wellness plans for Hounslow BY Tom Walker |
Residents in the London Borough of Hounslow are being asked for their views on a five-year vision for improving the health and wellbeing of local people at every stage of their lives. Hounslow's Health and Wellbeing Board is consulting on a new joint health and wellbeing strategy for the borough. This sets out priorities for joint action by the key commissioners: the council, the clinical commissioning groups and the NHS commissioning board. The consultation runs until 1 November and the feedback will shape the final strategy. The London Borough of Hounslow council is the latest to form and implement a Health and Wellbeing Board. Last month, Dorset County Council launched a public consultation as part of its plans to develop a new health and wellness strategy. Close Window |
