First ever NBA centre to launch in China

NBA China is set to open the first ever NBA Centre in Wuqing, China.
Yatai Lanhai Investment Group has partnered with NBA China to complete the 12,000 sq m (129,167 sq ft) NBA-themed building.
Located in New Water Town, a 2,300-acre mixed-use development, the centre will include sports, retail and entertainment such as training facilities and a gym.
US-based architects Manica are responsible for developing the project, which is expected to open in 2015.
The new centre is the first of many planned NBA venues to open internationally.
