![]() Kettering Borough Council will invest £40,000 over a four-year period to help run the National Volleyball Centre (NVC) in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Kettering has become recognised as the official home of volleyball, thanks to the success of the NVC, which is the home of the English National Squads and several national competitions. Not only has the NVC attracted elite British teams, but the centre has also been recognised by volleyball's Federation International de Volleyball (FIVB) as a world development centre, attracting teams from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands.
