Ila continues global expansion with new partnerships, appointments

Luxury organic spa and skincare brand ila has announced two new partnerships and a number of new appointments which underline its expansion strategy.

A partnership with Cyprus-based Thanos Group has seen ila’s skincare products and treatments become available at Thanos hotels the Anassa and Almyra. Bespoke treatment menus and bathing rituals have been created at each venue.

Ila has combined local Cypriot healing traditions and indigenous ingredients including rose, orange blossom, olive oil, honey and rosemary.

Meanwhile, a selection of ila’s beauty products will be displayed on online apothecary SpaceNK.com after the two companies agreed a partnership deal.

The selection will focus on the luxury organic spa and skincare brand’s best-selling products, including the Face Oil for Glowing Radiance, Body Oil for Vital Energy and Day Cream for Glowing Radiance.

Ila founder Denise Leicester said the partnership would extend the company’s UK and international reach, allowing “new customers to discover the healing benefits of ila products”.

The company has also announced a series of new appointments at its Oxfordshire, UK head office as a result of a nearly 40 per cent growth in sales over the last two years.

Philip Davies has become head of spa & spa development; he was previously founder & spa director at Glow Spa in London.

Rachel Allsop and Laura Kelly join ila as international account managers, while other appointments over the last year include Clare Lecointe as head of sales; Stacey Steedman as head of marketing; Karli Lester as international account manager; and Laura Mellor as international trainer.
