CBeebies Land gets rave reviews from visitors following launch at Alton Towers

CBeebies Land at Alton Towers, UK, has hit the ground running following its recent launch, experiencing largely positive feedback from visitors for the BBC children’s TV channel tie-up.

The new attraction is operator Merlin Entertainment’s first single-branded area and features some of CBeebies most recognisable and popular characters.

Since the opening, Alton Towers representatives told AM2 that the village green show area, where live events featuring the most popular CBeebies characters take place throughout the day, has been particularly popular for the attraction. Numbers also look good with percentage satisfaction scores from visitors in the high 90s; and visitors with young families the highest ever for Alton Towers.

The area, which opened 24 May, includes rides, immersive play areas, live experiences and has been designed by Merlin’s magic makers to be a safe environment for preschoolers.

Among the branded-attractions are Postman Pat’s Parcel Post, The Veggies in Mr Bloom’s Allotment, the In The Night Garden Magical Boat Ride, the NumTums Number-Go-Round and Charlie & Lola’s Moonsquirters and Greendrops.

CBeebies Land also features the Big Fun Show Time pavillon, which will host live experiences and entertainment based on CBeebies.
