Four Seasons Resort Dubai reveals spa offering details

The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is set to open on 1 December in a low-rise five-storey building amid the city’s soaring skyscrapers, flanked by 270m of natural beachfront.

The 237-bedroom hotel features a 706sq m (7,600sq ft) spa including 10 treatment rooms, extensive thermal facilities by Barr+Wray, an indoor pool, juice bar, boutique and relaxation zone.

“Our spa has been designed as a
Four Seasons
showpiece on a global scale,” says spa director Hayley Bluett. “A full menu of traditional healing rituals and cutting-edge therapies will be highlighted by a deluxe U-shaped aqua-thermal experience that includes a rain tunnel, scrub bar, chill zone, steamroom and whirlpool.”

“Each of our treatment rooms opens to a discreet outdoor space and has its own foot ritual bath,” Bluett continued. “One of the treatment rooms, The Royal Spa Suite, features wet and dry suites in addition to a secluded outdoor terrace, relaxation lounge and bathtub for two. We’ll also offer rasul mud treatments for couples in this very private space.”

The hotel also offers a salon by En Vogue as well as a men’s grooming lounge.

Within the resort’s gardens there are two outdoor swimming pools in addition to the spa and adjacent fitness complex. There is also an on-site watersports centre for guests interested in kayaking, dinghies, catamarans or paddle boarding.

San Francisco-based interior designers BAMO have included five restaurants in the resort’s plans, to be managed by Four Seasons, in addition to another five independent dining and nightclub venues that will be on offer in a stand-alone building.

Specialising in outdoor events on the ballroom terrace and beachfront lawns, the resort also hosts the Dana Ballroom for up to 360-seated guests in addition to four smaller rooms which accommodate between 12 and 100 people.
