Steiner extends spa operations contract with Windstar Cruises

Steiner Leisure has entered into an amendment to its operating agreement with cruise line company Windstar Cruises, maintaining Steiner’s longstanding role as the exclusive provider of on-board spas, salons, fitness and wellness services.

The amended contract will see the extension of the original agreement through to April 2017 and it allows for automatic successive one-year renewal terms thereafter, cancellable by either party with 90-days' advanced written notice.

Steiner will continue to provide aesthetic medicine treatments and services, including acupuncture and dermal fillers, as well as Elemis skincare therapies on the four Windstar vessels currently sailing, the two vessels coming into service during 2015, and all new vessels that subsequently come into service during the agreement term.

“With this latest extension of our agreement, and the anticipated continuing expansion of Windstar’s fleet to a total of six vessels, we look forward to welcoming even more of Windstar’s guests to luxuriate in our diverse assortment of spa and wellness offerings,” said Leonard Fluxman, president and CEO of Steiner Leisure.

Steiner Leisure’s cruise line operations are conducted in spas onboard 148 ships, including Azamara Club Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Crystal Cruises, Cunard Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Lines, Silversea Cruises, Thomson Cruises and Windstar Cruises.
