VAC 2014 underway in central London

The annual Visitor Attraction Conference (VAC) has kicked-off today (9 October) at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London.

VAC is a one-day event run 'by the industry, for the industry' and is firmly established as the key place to meet and network with contemporaries from across the entire spectrum of the UK attractions industry.

Highlights for the day include a welcome by conference chair Paul Kelly, as well as keynote addresses from designer Wayne Hemingway MBE and Eddie Kemsley, director of Dreamland Margate.

Jamie Christon, managing director of Chester Zoo will be speaking about creating visitor experiences, while Kurt Janson, policy director for the Tourism Alliance and Leisure Opportunities columnist, will deliver the Tourism Industry Report.

AM2 is on-hand for the day and will produce a full report on the top developments at VAC 2014.
