Milwaukee Brewers announces plans for Allan Selig Experience

Baseball team the Milwaukee Brewers has announced plans for a new fan experience at its Miller Park home – a state-of-the-art attraction to honour retiring Major League Baseball (MLB) commissioner and former Brewers owner, Allan Selig.

The Selig Experience exhibit will feature a multimedia presentation that tells the story of Selig’s role in saving MLB in Milwaukee, his efforts to bring the Brewers into the city and his work to promote and grow the game in his home town.

“Commissioner Selig is the one person who ensured that the city of Milwaukee would continue as a Major League City, even when others had virtually lost hope,” said Brewers COO, Rick Schlesinger.

“We want to mark his legacy with much more than a museum, and we believe the Selig Experience will tell his story in one of the most unique fan attractions in all of sports.”

The year-round attraction covers 1,400sq ft (130sq m) and will include items from Selig’s tenure as Brewers owner. The main multimedia show, produced by BRC Imagination Arts, builds to a 3D encounter with Selig inside a reproduction of his stadium office.

BRC was recently recognised for its work at the THEA awards, picking up the prize for Outstanding Corporate Brand-land for The Story Garden at the Amorepacific Beauty Campus in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The 10,000sq ft (929sq m) multi-storey botanical garden, reflecting the company’s commitment to nature and plant-based ingredients.
