Continuum to create Royal Mint visitor experience in Wales

Operator Continuum Attractions has confirmed that it is working alongside the UK's Royal Mint to open a new visitor centre in May 2016.

The attraction, in Llantrisant, Wales, will allow visitors to go backstage at the mint and see how the UK's money is made, but no further details are currently available.

In April this year, the 1,000-year-old Royal Mint unveiled its Mather-designed plans to develop a purpose-built visitor centre at its headquarters in Llantrisant.

In other developments, Continuum announced in August that it is teaming up with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) to build and operate a new visitor centre in Sherwood Forest Country Park, the home of the legendary Robin Hood.

Continuum works with a variety of UK-based attractions, including Coronation Street The Tour.
