Winners for the UK’s Best Spas were announced on Tuesday at a gala dinner at SpaLife UK, a regional industry event that took place this year in Telford, England. The awards included eight national and eight regional awards, highlighting the best of spa in the UK. Regional awards included more than 50,000 public votes, while the national awards were decided upon by specially appointed Good Spa Spies, who review more than 100 spas each year and complete a detailed audit. The Bulgari Spa was voted the Best Spa in London, while The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA took home the Best Spa in Scotland, the St Brides Spa Hotel was named best spa in Wales, and the Galgorm Resort and Spa was named best spa in Northern Ireland. Other regional winners include: Best spa in the East: Sequoia Spa at The Grove, Hertfordshire Best spa in the Northeast: Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall, County Durham Best spa in the Northwest: The Woodland Spa, Lancashire Best spa in the Southeast: Pennyhill Park, Surrey Best spa in the Southwest: Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa, Wiltshire Best spa in the Channel Islands: St Pierre Park Hotel Spa and Golf Resort, Guernsey Best spa in the West Midlands: Dormy House Hotel and Spa, Worcestershire Other honours included: Best spa for a day: Eden Hall Day Spa, Nottinghamshire Best spa for families: L’Horizon Beach Hotel and Spa, Jersey, Channel Islands Best spa for groups: The Day Spa at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire Best spa for luxury: Rockliffe Hall, County Durham Best spa for outside space: Wynyard Hall, Tees Valley Best spa for a stay: Stobo Castle Health Spa, Scotland Best spa for value: The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village, Lancashire Best spa for wellness: Champneys Tring, Hertfordshire Close Window |
