Triyoga to open fifth London studio

Triyoga will open a 6,000sq ft (557sq m) studio in East London’s Shoreditch next month - the brand’s fifth operation in the capital.

The site, which will have three studios, two treatment rooms, a vegetarian café and a shop offering Harvey & Mills athleisure products, has been designed by James Lynch and Triyoga founder Jonathan Sattin.

In line with Triyoga’s other four studios, in Camden, Chelsea, Covent Garden and Soho, the Shoreditch site will offer a range of yoga, pilates and barre classes, alongside workshops.

The studio will also be introducing new classes and workshops, including yoga for mental health, deaf yoga, chair yoga and every body yoga, a class for all body types.

Offering 126 classes per week, the studios range in size from holding 35 students to 60. More than 80 treatments will be available to users.

Dishes in the café will be sugar, gluten and dairy free, with the menu offering breakfast, lunch and light dinner, as well as snacks, juices and smoothies.

“I’ve been connected personally to Shoreditch as an area for over 30 years from when Old Street roundabout and some of those side streets were ‘interesting’ - but there was always a sense of real vibrancy with a mix of history and of being left of centre which I love,” said Sattin. “It took some time but we like to think we found the perfect site with great natural light from floor to ceiling.”

Triyoga opened its first studio in 2000.
