Virtuagym partners with FitnessOnDemand

Fitness On Demand (FoD) has signed a partnership deal with fitness software platform Virtuagym, making FoD's premium fitness workouts available to Virtuagym members by integrating with its existing mobile apps.

Virtuagym provides an online club ecosystem and turn-key mobile app which can be customised and managed by the facility for a branded experience.

It offers a range of services – from health club solutions for member engagement to exercise nutrition guidance and scheduling.

The partnership with Fitness On Demand will offer club operators a wide variety of digital fitness workouts, enhancing Virtuagym’s tools to extend programming options and member engagement beyond the facility.

One of the operator's to adopt the technology is budget chain Xercise4Less.

"Our partnership with Fitness On Demand enables us to provide market-disrupting gym chains like Xercise4Less the ability to support and engage their members on a higher level, while tapping into a new digital revenue stream on top of the existing business models in our offering,” said Hugo Braam, CEO of Virtuagym.

“We feel that the future of the industry is in integrations with technology that enhances the member experience. We’re excited to be part of this movement, and thrilled about this new collaboration."

Garrett Marshall, Divisional CEO of Fitness On Demand, added: “Partnering with Virtuagym was a logical step towards our goal of developing the choice virtual platform for multi-club operators that is integrated with the products and services they already use.

“With Virtuagym’s ever-expanding list of feature-sets, we look forward to growing together and creating more value for multi-club operators.”
