Pure Spa & Beauty to finance growth with crowdfunding campaign

UK spa group Pure Spa & Beauty has launched a crowdfunding campaign that will give investors the opportunity to become shareholders in the company.

The company is hoping to raise £150k, via crowdfunding site Crowdcube, in order to support its expansion across the UK, as it plans to open new facilities in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Newcastle and Liverpool.

The company, which launched in 2002, aims to spread 'health and happiness' by offering relaxing spa escapes in urban settings. The urban locations are designed to give guests easier access to spa and beauty treatments, and encourages them to get regular treatments as part of their self care.

Becky Woodhouse, founder and CEO of Pure Spa, said: "In line with the growing interest in wellness, our plan is to open new Pure Spa & Beauty locations in high footfall retail centres across the UK's biggest cities."

" We have identified a large client demand for our accessible spa and beauty model in many centres around the UK, and we are very ambitious to take our experience in spa operations to a wider UK market. We hope that our clients and investors will join us by becoming part owners of our wonderful company and share in the next phase of our exciting journey, " she added.
