Leisure-net to conduct consumer confidence survey during second lockdown – needs your support

Leisure-net is running a repeat of its initial Post Lockdown Recovery Survey, in order to gauge consumer confidence within the fitness industry following the second lockdown.

The customer insight specialist will undertake research which will follow the lines of the initial survey, carried out in April this year.

Following up on the first survey will allow Leisure-net to benchmark consumer feelings between lockdowns, as well as gauge what customers expect of operators to keep them safe.

Additional questions in the second round of research – sponsored by Active IQ – will also look to find when consumers are likely to return and what they are doing to remain physically active during the second lockdown.

David Monkhouse, Leisure-net Director says: “The initial survey results have been widely used to inform decision making, lobby local and central Government and shape reopening guidance by organisations such as Sport England, ukactive, Community Leisure UK and CIMSPA.

"Operators up and down the country have also used the results to inform their decisions, maximise the impact of re-opening and reframe post-Covid activity.”

Leisure-net is now urgently seeking operators to distribute the survey to their customers.

Operators that take part will receive a free copy of the full report, as well as access to their own specific company results, which can be cross referenced by age, gender, operator type and region.

Anyone interested in taking part should email David Monkhouse at [email protected] with the following information:
Operator name
Name of operator contact
Email address of contact
Telephone number of contact
Number of sites that will distribute the survey

The closing date for expression of interest is Monday 23 November at 12 noon.
