Tangled attraction among new additions revealed for Disneyland Paris Resort

A Tangled-themed family ride is among a range of new attractions revealed for the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris Resort, France.

While exact details for the The Tangled attraction are to be confirmed, the concept art released by Disney seems to suggest it's a spinner ride with wooden boats spinning around lanterns.

Disney did confirm that the ride is set be located along an entirely new promenade being built for the park, which will offer guests access to another new arrival – the upcoming Frozen-themed land.

The new ride and the Frozen land form part of the transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park, which this year is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Among other additions in 2023 will be a brand-new show at the Studio Theater, called “Pixar: We Belong Together”, which will invite guests to take part in "an emotional journey" with some of Pixar's most popular characters.

Elsewhere, a new Toy Story Garden will transport guests in the world of Woody and Jessie and their friends, while offering a new way to discover the Toy Story Playland nearby.

Disney also provided an update on the progress made in the construction of the Frozen land.

"Groundworks are also continuing on the lake itself and the new Frozen-themed area that will welcome Disneyland Paris guests in the near future," Disney said.

"Imagineers from around the world are already working together to immerse fans of all ages in the Kingdom of Arendelle like never before.

"It will be home to a new attraction that will take guests on an unforgettable journey alongside Elsa and Anna, dining and shopping experiences and will also offer the opportunity to have a magical audience with the royal sisters themselves."

Outside the parks, the popular Frozen IP is also playing an important role in the reimagining of the Disneyland Hotel.

The five-star hotel will reopen in 2024 and is being billed as "the ultimate Disney royal address in Europe", featuring themed rooms and suites inspired by Disney classics such as Tangled, Beauty & the Beast, Cinderella as well as Frozen.
