Alberto Apostoli spearheads launch of Armonia wellness consultancy

Architect and designer Alberto Apostoli has unveiled his new integrated wellness consulting firm, Armonia, to bolster spas around the world and transform them into commercially and economically successful destinations.

Serving as the company’s project lead and chief of design, Apostoli is a renowned architect based in Italy who specialises in spa and wellness design. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry.

Apostoli also built up an international portfolio of more than 1,000 projects in part through his wellness design and consulting firm, Studio Apostoli.

Since its inception in 1997, the firm has collaborated with a range of top-tier brands including Lefay Resorts, Cipriani Group, Four Seasons and Hilton.

Armonia offers tailored and customisable strategic and operational consultancy services, which can encompass design (developed directly by Studio Apostoli), marketing, strategy, advanced training and management, or a combination thereof, depending on clients' requirements.

Armonia will work with individual brands, hotel chains and independent facilities.

Armonia’s leadership team
Apostoli has launched the new consultancy alongside two partners; Annarita Di Giacomo (chief of operations, product and HR) and Enrico Della Casa (chief of branding and communication).

Having spent nearly two decades in the wellness industry, Di Giacomo’s career in wellness has focused on managing and consulting for wellness centres in Spain and Italy, including protocol development and training.

Meanwhile, Della Casa is a specialist in communication and branding in the luxury and wellness industries with more than 17 years of international experience under his belt.

Apostoli explains: "Armonia is the amalgamation of an extraordinary amount of knowledge.

“We believe there is new market demand to evolve the wellness industry’s offerings, similar to what has transpired in the hospitality sector over the past two decades.

“Elevating the service, setting it apart, selecting the right partners in alignment with project objectives, ensuring staff training, adhering to sustainability principles and employing coordinated image and communication tools are all indispensable elements for a successful business. Our role is to facilitate this process."

He adds: "Our primary objective is to create spas capable of generating positive economic outcomes in a sector often seen as unprofitable or peripheral."
