Borghese debuts Fango Purificante Purifying Mud Mask |
Italian skincare brand Borghese has launched its Fango Purificante Mud Mask for Face and Body, for use in a five-minute treatment designed to purify and balance oily, blemish-prone skin. The formula combines kaolin and bentonite clays with sea salt and lactic acid. This combination of ingredients is said to deliver visible clarity while respecting the skin barrier. The product joins the Borghese Fango mud mask collection, which includes the Advanced Fango Active Mud for Face and Body and the Advanced Fango Delicato Mud for Delicate, Dry Skin. Each product in the Borghese catalogue addresses a specific skin state: purifying, detoxifying or soothing. The new mud mask was developed as a result of “extensive social listening” via social media platforms such as Reddit, which provided direct consumer insights. The brand identified consumers are searching for fast, effective results from products that avoid compromising the skin barrier. The Fango Purificante Purifying Mud Mask has been designed to address the growing demand for high-performance solutions that target blemishes and stressed skin. “Fango Purificante Purifying Mud Mask represents how we evolve by listening deeply to the consumer while staying rooted in what has always defined Borghese,” said Dawn Hilarczyk, chief operating officer at Borghese. “We identified a clear gap between overly aggressive treatments and formulas that simply do not deliver. This launch is our answer: a high-performance, barrier-conscious mud mask that works quickly, respects the skin, and reinforces our authority in mud. We are not following the category – we are defining what modern mud should be.” Borghese believes consumers are moving away from multi-step routines and that its muds, which provide a “five-minute reset”, deliver a faster performance-driven ritual. The Fango Purificante Purifying Mud Mask retails for US$58 (€53, £45). Close Window |
