18 Feb 2003 London's Aura bar launches in April |
The Aura Kitchen and Bar, created by a group led by David Serlui, is opening in London's St James' and Piccadilly this April. The £1.5m basement renovation beneath Caviar House will open from midday until 3am and will 'adapt to suit drinkers and diners' moods.' Throughout the day the lighting, music, menu and furniture changes. Remote-controlled tables can be raised for dining or lowered for drinking while chaises longues are lowered and joined with banquettes to create sofa-beds. Drinkers will be able to choose from over fifty cocktails and a members-only policy will apply after 12.30am. Close Window |
