An £8m (10.7m euro, US$15.6m) ESPA spa is to open in March at Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland. Called The Spa at Gleneagles by ESPA and designed by Amanda Rosa in conjunction with ESPA, the 18,298sq ft (1,700sq m) facility will have 20 treatment rooms. Other features will include a sauna, a steamroom, ice fountains, a vitality pool, a relaxation area and a spa restaurant. A range of signature treatments have been created for Gleneagles, which will be jointly marketed by the hotel and ESPA via both leisure and corporate newsletters, websites and various media initiatives. Speaking about the launch, spa director Jamie Pagan said: “The creation of a spa at Gleneagles is extremely important to our business. Spas play a hugely important role when it comes to choosing a destination, whether for business or pleasure, so it’s vital that Gleneagles can offer a world-class facility. “We are thrilled to be working in conjunction with ESPA, a brand that shares our ethic in offering the best quality and standards possible to their customers.” Close Window |
