31 Jul 2003 Premier Rugby to study access for the disabled |
Premier Rugby, in partnership with Zurich, has begun research into the accessibility of the 12 Zurich Premiership rugby union grounds for people with disabilities. The research is expected to be completed by the end of the year and will include two visits to each ground – one on a match day, giving questionnaires to find out the views of disabled supporters. The aim of the study is to comprehensively review the current status at the top clubs, allowing the RFU to positively influence the attitudes of those involved with Premiership rugby and offer advice ahead of the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act in October 2004.
