22 Apr 2008 Partnership to sell Nice hotel BY Tom Walker |
Starman UK, a joint venture between Starwood Capital and US bank Lehman Brothers, has put the Le Meridien hotel in Nice, France, up for sale. Starman, which has instructed UK-based Christie + Co to market the property, said the hotel will be sold complete with a long-term management contract with Starwood Hotels & Resorts under the Le Meridien brand. Starwood and Lehman acquired the 318-room property in 2005 as part of its take over of the Meridien group of hotels. Le Meridien Nice is currently undergoing a multi-million euro refurbishment, which will include the full refurbishment of 184 bedrooms, and a face-lift of the public areas. Close Window |
