De Niro to widen hospitality portfolio
Celebrity restaurateur Robert De Niro has applied for a liquor licence for a bar in Greenwich Village, New York.
The actor already co-owns two other Greenwich Village restaurants but now wants to open a quiet, intimate bar.
De Niro is also an investor in the A-list London eatery, Nobu, and is in discussions to open a boutique hotel.
