BY Tom Walker

Aura Sport and Leisure Management last month opened a new 15.9m euro (£12.5m) leisure facility in south-west Ireland - the Aura Killarney Leisure Centre - in partnership with Killarney Town Council.

Facilities include a 25m pool, a large multi-purpose sports hall suitable for various indoor sports, a large fi tness suite supplied by TNT Fitness and including Technogym equipment, an aerobics studio and a health studio.

Operating a pay as you go option, the company is committed to ensuring that the leisure centre is accessible to all.

"Our service is focused on fun, fitness and health for everybody,” says Diane Vesey, the company’s MD.

“Teen gym, children’s swimming lessons and activity camps we operate successfully elsewhere will be introduced for local children to enjoy.

We look forward to ensuring that the centre’s many facilities are accessible to all members of the family, both young and old, including people with special needs.”
