Called The Water Club, the US$400m (255m euro, £203m) boutique hotel and spa is situated at Renaissance Pointe, adjacent to Borgata, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, US.

The spa, called Immersion – The Spa at the Water Club, features 16 experience rooms, a fitness centre and a 25-yard, infinity-edge lap pool with sky views, overlooking the ocean.

The Water Club features five tiers of accommodation and a 'spa in the sky' covering two floors and with five swimming pools.

A joint venture between Boyd Gaming and MGM Mirage, The Water Club completes the two-phase, US$600m (383m euro, £305m) expansion of Borgata, bringing the total investment in the resort to US$1.7bn (1.08bn euro, £0.86bn).
