Disneyland Paris introduces Bluetooth services

Disneyland Resort Paris has introduced a new service for guests, allowing them to receive free information to their mobile phones via Bluetooth during their time in the Walt Disney Studios Park.

"Our position as Europe's leading tourist destination requires that our level of services be increasingly performing, in order to guarantee a quality experience for our guests," said Eric Cosset, parks operation director for Disneyland Resort Paris.

"We have been working on real-time information for some time now, for we know it is one of the keys to a wholly successful visit for our guests."

Using the service, guests with Bluetooth technology on their phones will be able to find out information such as queuing times for rides or what time a certain show starts.

Four Bluetooth terminals have been located in the Walt Disney Studios Park and when a guest walks past one, they will receive an alarm that reminds them that they can receive information via Bluetooth. They can then accept of refuse to receive the free content delivered in the reception area, approximately 20m around the terminals.
