Roberts joined the leisure trust in 2005 after 20 years in the Royal Air Force.

He will now be responsible for all commercial business developments within the trading arm of the company - in particular further developing the catering and events side of the business - as well as developing new business opportunities, including securing new leisure facility management contracts within Barnsley and outside the area.
