Covering 2,700sq ft, the Pilates Center is situated in the centre of Maastricht and combines a studio area with a separate group training area and rehabilitation area complete with massage space and private rooms for one-to-one tuition.

The specialist Center, which is owned by Ernie Prevoo, will double as a training site for Pilates trainers throughout the Netherlands.

Since opening six weeks ago, the Center has attracted 120 members, many within the 30-40 year-old age bracket.

To break even, the centre needs at least 200 members, but Prevoo has a target membership of 400-500 people.
