Fisherman’s Cove hotel reopens in Seychelles

Le Méridien Fisherman’s Cove hotel in the Seychelles has reopened after a nine months and a $12m refurbishment.

Situated on Beau Vallon beach on the island of Mahé, the five-star property was redesigned by Reardon Smith Architects, who have restyled all of the existing 62 guestrooms.

A new restaurant and bar has also been introduced, Le Bourgeois, which is accessed by a decked boardwalk and extends out to a rocky promontory where a traditional Sunset Pavilion has been built.

There is a further restaurant, Le Cardinal, for more formal dining.

Inside the hotel, the lobby has also been reconfigured to accommodate a waterfall, from which water travels down through the main public spaces into a new 70m infinity pool.

A new spa includes a hammam, a plunge pool, exercise rooms and two massage rooms. Details: www.lemeridien.com
