15 Sep 2008 Sheraton hotel to open in New York BY Tom Walker |
Starwood Hotels and Resorts will open a new Four Points by Sheraton hotel in the Soho district of New York City, US, next month. The 150-room property will be the second Four Points hotel to open in New York and will be followed with the opening of a fifth – Sheraton Midtown-Times Square – in February 2009. Four Points by Sheraton's vice president, Sandy Swider, said: "We are actively growing our New York City portfolio to address the acute need for moderately priced lodging in urban neighborhoods. "Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan SoHo Village provides guests with just what they want and need - comfortable rooms, an engaging social atmosphere, fresh, clean style, and little indulgences to help them feel special at the end of the day."
