Indian Ayurvedic spa brand plans move into Europe

Sansha Ayurveda, the Indian Ayurvedic health spa operator, is looking for partners to introduce the brand to existing spas and health facilities throughout Europe.

Director Paawan Munjal said the company was in serious discussions with parties in the UK and, once established, would target Europe and potentially the United States for further expansion.

“Our strategy is to partner with existing spas and health farms – and potentially hotels and resorts – in the UK and Europe to offer Ayurvedic therapies, treatments, products and services," he said.

“We are in a position to offer a complete service from the design of the Ayurvedic section, supply of oils and products and sourcing of quality and experienced staff from India through to ongoing staff training.”

He added that the company usually agrees a revenue or profit sharing deal, but that there is no set structure in place as the format can be altered to suit the circumstances and objectives of potential partners.

Sansha Ayurveda operates 16 spas in hotels and resorts throughout India, as well as manufacturing herbal skin and hair care products and a herbal line of amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and shower gel for guest rooms.

Treatments and services available at the company's spas include medical and lifestyle consultation, traditional Ayurvedic massage therapies, yoga and meditation, skin and hair care, exotic baths and treatment for specific ailments. Details: www.sanshaayurveda.com or +44 (0)7787 805 599
