Strata continues with expansion
Russian fitness chain Strata Partners has opened another of its CityFitness clubs, which launched earlier this year.
The 2,000sq m club is the first of its kind in Volgograd, Russia and facilities include a gym, two exercise studios, a kid’s club, bar and spa.
The club is being operated by a franchisee who runs an Orange Fitness club in Krasnodar – Orange Fitness is Strata’s premium brand.
“In the last two and a half years we have opened eight clubs; That’s more then anyone else,” said Anastasia Yusina, director of Strata Partners.
The company plans to open up to 60 CityFitness in the next five years.
