Cirulli scoops business award
Joe Cirulli’s Gainesville Health and Fitness Centers in Florida, USA, have been awarded the Business of the Year Award 2004 by the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce.
Cirulli founded the business in 1976 with an investment of $20,000 (£10,600, 15,000 euros) and today he owns the Gainesville Health & Fitness Center, a 65,000sq ft (6,000sq m) club with more than 20,000 members, as well as the Gainesville Health & Fitness Center for Women, a 14,000sq ft (1,300sq m) women-only facility.
This is the latest in a string of awards for Cirulli, who was also presented with the 2004 Distinguished Entrepreneur for Lifetime Achievement Award last year.
