![]() A 3.3m euro (£2.3m, $4.4m) health club and spa has opened at the five-star Alberg Hospiz at St Christoph – the renowned ski resort in Alberg, Austria’s premier skiing area bordering the Vorarlberg and Tyrol regions. Opened last month following 18 months of work by owner Florian Werner, the Hospiz Sport & Spa includes a sauna, steamroom, swimming pool, beauty salon, massage rooms and a fitness studio where personal trainers are always on hand for guidance. The 2,000sq m (21,500q ft) facility is for the exclusive use of hotel guests and will not be open to the general public. The studio has been equipped by Precor and comprises nearly two dozen strength stations from its Sygnum range, as well EFX crosstrainers, treadmills and recumbent cycles and a Concept II rower.
