In this “coming of age” anniversary of the ECSS Congress, we would like to provide global views and stress the big picture of Sport Science so as to help develop the specialized areas.
The latest advances in technology, mathematical modeling and computational possibilities have led to a new body of scientific disciplines that can cope with the complexity of sports, a privileged area for developing science in our society.
Our main aim will be to contribute to the mutual understanding between the various fields and foster the transfer of theoretical explanatory principles, techniques and insights between disciplines.
