Just Playing?

Eureka! The National Children's Museum
Discovery Road, Halifax, Yorkshire, HX12NE, United Kingdom

Can children learn through play? Should adults take part in child’s play? Can digital technology enhance play? These questions and others will be asked and their answers debated next month in a conference at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax, West Yorkshire.

Sponsored by playground equipment designers and manufacturers, Sutcliffe Play, the conference is a first for the UK’s leading children’s museum. The event will bring together the play, learning and museum sectors and will be a chance for museum professionals to explore the role of play in their many different environments and to discuss the impact of the recently launched National Play Strategy.
