Director of Operations Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom Salary: Permanent, Full Time (35.75 hours per week) The Director of Operations plays a pivotal role in working with colleagues and partners to realise our vision; ‘inspiring Edinburgh to be a more active and healthy city’. Not surprisingly the responsibilities of the post are many and varied; customer experience, service developments, usage targets, budget management, health & safety, asset management, partnership and stakeholder relationships ... we could go on. Whoever gets this job must be able to keep many balls in the air at the same time. And yes, they are all a priority! Mental stamina of the sort that can cope with high pressure, competing demands and short time scales. Strong analytical, project management and change management skills. This is an Executive Director level post, so applicants will also need to demonstrate a strong track record of strategic leadership and management at the highest level.
